Terms of Service

These terms cover orders placed with Ever So Sweet ("we," "us," or "our"), a sole proprietorship based in Katy, TX. By submitting an inquiry or placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

Custom Orders & Booking

All cakes and desserts are made to order. We recommend booking wedding cakes at least 3–6 months in advance, especially during peak wedding season (April–October). For birthday cakes and other celebration orders, we recommend at least 2–4 weeks notice. Booking availability is not guaranteed until a deposit has been received.

Tastings

Tasting consultations are available by appointment for wedding cake orders. A tasting fee applies and is credited toward your final order if you book with us.

Pricing

Every cake is custom, so pricing depends on size, design complexity, and flavors. Wedding cakes are priced per slice, starting at $6/slice. Specialty cakes, sugar cookies, and cupcakes are quoted individually based on your order details.

Deposits & Payment

A deposit of 50% is required to secure your order date, due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due two weeks before your event for wedding cakes or day before delivery for other orders.. We accept payment via Square, Venmo, Zelle, or cash.

Delivery & Pickup

We're based in Katy, TX and serve the greater Houston area. Delivery is available for wedding cakes and large orders; delivery fees vary based on distance and are quoted at the time of booking. Local pickup is always available for smaller orders. Once a cake has been delivered or picked up, we're not responsible for damage caused by transport, handling, improper storage, or display conditions after it leaves our care.

Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

We can accommodate some dietary needs on a case-by-case basis — please mention any allergies or restrictions when you inquire, and we'll let you know what's possible. Please note that our kitchen is not allergen-free, and we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free of common allergens such as nuts, dairy, eggs, or gluten.

Photography & Marketing

We may photograph completed orders and use those photos in our portfolio, gallery, website, and social media for marketing purposes. If you'd prefer your order not be photographed or shared publicly, just let us know when you place your order and we'll respect that.

Limitation of Liability

We take care in preparing every order, but to the fullest extent permitted by law, Ever So Sweet is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from an order, beyond the value of the order itself. This does not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to place orders with us after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
